Why Stripe?
Covy uses Stripe Connect to handle payments securely. When you sell an item, the money is sent directly to your Stripe account, then transferred to your bank account.
Setting up your account
- Go to Profile > Settings > Payments
- Tap "Set up Stripe"
- You'll be redirected to Stripe to fill in your details:
- Identity (name, date of birth)
- Address
- Bank details (IBAN)
- Once verified, you're ready to sell
How long does it take?
Stripe verification is usually instant. In some cases, Stripe may request additional documents (ID), which can take 1-2 days.
When do I get paid?
After each sale, the amount (minus Covy's commission) is transferred to your Stripe account. Bank transfers are processed automatically according to Stripe's schedule (usually within 2-7 days).
