Check the seller
Before buying, check the seller's profile:
- Reviews and ratings from previous buyers
- Number of sales completed
- How long they've been on the platform
- Response rate to messages
Check the listing
- Are the photos detailed and taken by the seller (not stock photos)?
- Does the description mention the actual condition and any flaws?
- Is the price consistent with the market?
- Are the size and category correct?
During the purchase
- Only use in-app payment — never pay outside of Covy
- Never share your bank details via messages
- Be wary of deals that seem too good to be true
After the purchase
- Check the item as soon as you receive it
- Don't confirm receipt until you've checked everything
- If there's a problem, open a dispute with photos
Red flags
- Seller who insists on communicating outside the app
- Abnormally low price for a branded item
- Blurry or generic photos
- Seller with no history or reviews
- Request for payment outside the platform
