Why confirm?
When you confirm receipt, the seller gets paid. It's an essential step that helps secure the transaction:
- For the seller: they receive their money
- For you: you have time to check the item before validating
How to confirm
- Go to Profile > My purchases
- Open the order
- Check that the item matches the description
- Tap "Confirm receipt"
Automatic deadline
If you don't confirm within the protection period after delivery, receipt is automatically confirmed and the seller is paid.
That's why it's important to check your item quickly after receiving it.
If there's a problem
If the item doesn't match:
- Don't confirm receipt
- Open a dispute from the order
- Take photos of the problem
Once receipt is confirmed, you can no longer open a dispute. The seller is paid permanently.
In-person handover
For in-person handovers, confirmation works the same way. Check the item on the spot before confirming in the app.
