Cancel an order

Before or after shipment, what to do

Before shipment

If the seller hasn't shipped yet:

  1. Contact the seller via the order messaging
  2. Ask them to cancel the order
  3. If the seller agrees, the order is cancelled and you get a refund

Covy does not allow unilateral cancellation. The seller's agreement is required.

After shipment

Once the package has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. You have two options:

  • Wait to receive the item and resell it on Covy if you no longer want it
  • Open a dispute if the received item doesn't match the description

Seller: cancelling a sale

If you're a seller and can't fulfill a sale:

  1. Go to Seller Hub > My sales
  2. Open the order
  3. Contact the buyer to let them know
  4. Contact support@covy.app to cancel the order

Refund

In case of cancellation:

  • The refund is issued to the original payment method
  • The timeline depends on your payment provider
