Confirm in-person handover

How does it work?

In-person handover uses a secure system that helps secure the transaction.

For the buyer

1. Meet the seller at the agreed location
2. Check the item before confirming
3. Open the order in the app
4. Tap "Confirm receipt"
5. A 4-digit PIN code appears — share it with the seller

For the seller

1. Bring the item to the agreed location
2. The buyer checks the item
3. The buyer gives you their PIN code
4. Enter the code in the app to confirm the handover
5. You get paid

Why a PIN code?

The PIN code allows confirmation that:

• The buyer has actually received the item
• The seller has actually handed over the item
• This helps secure the transaction

Safety tips

• Choose a public place (train station, shopping center, cafe)
• Check the item before confirming in the app
• Only share the PIN code after you've checked the item
