Getting started selling on Covy

Create your account

Download Covy and sign up with your phone number. It's free and takes 30 seconds.

Set up your seller profile

1. Go to Profile > Edit Profile
2. Add a profile picture — buyers trust sellers with real photos more
3. Choose a recognizable username
4. Fill in your bio with what you sell (sneakers, cards, streetwear...)

Set up Stripe Connect

To receive payments, you need to connect a Stripe account:

1. Go to Profile > Settings > Payments
2. Tap "Set up Stripe"
3. Fill in your details (identity, address, IBAN)
4. Verification is usually instant

You can't sell until Stripe is configured. It's mandatory to receive payments securely.

Set up your shipping profiles

To save time on each listing:

1. Go to Profile > Settings > Shipping
2. Create a profile with your usual shipping fees (~8 CHF within Switzerland)
3. Enable handover if you want to offer in-person exchange

You're ready

Your account is set up. You can now:

• Create a classic listing to sell an item
• Create a live to sell in real-time
• Add products to your catalogue for lives
