Shipping, packaging, and tracking your sales

After a sale

When a buyer purchases your item, you receive a notification. You then have the indicated timeframe to ship or arrange the handover.

National shipping

  1. Package your item carefully (protect against shocks)
  2. Print or write the buyer's address (visible in the order)
  3. Drop off the package at the post office or a drop-off point
  4. Add the tracking number in the app so the buyer can track the package

Handover

  1. You and the buyer agree on a place and time via messaging
  2. Meet in a public place
  3. The buyer checks the item
  4. The buyer confirms receipt in the app
  5. You get paid

Packaging tips

  • Use bubble wrap for fragile items
  • Double the cardboard for valuable items
  • Add a thank-you note — it builds buyer loyalty

In case of issues

  • Item damaged during shipping: the buyer can open a dispute with photos
  • Lost package: contact the carrier with the tracking number, then contact us at support@covy.app
  • Buyer unreachable for handover: contact us, we'll help resolve the situation
