When to block
You can block a user if:
- They send you inappropriate messages
- They have abusive behavior
- You don't want to be contacted by this person anymore
How to block
- Go to the user's profile
- Tap the "..." menu in the top right
- Select "Block"
- Confirm
What happens when you block someone?
- The user can no longer send you messages
- They can no longer see your listings
- You can no longer see their listings
- They can no longer make offers on your items
- They are not notified of the block
Unblock a user
- Go to Profile > Settings
- Find the "Blocked users" section
- Tap "Unblock" next to the name
Blocking vs reporting
- Blocking = you don't want to interact with this person anymore (personal action)
- Reporting = you're alerting Covy about problematic behavior (community action)
You can do both at the same time. If the behavior is serious, report the user in addition to blocking them.
